NotesAs many of you already know, Wheatus released our sophomore album Hand Over Your Loved Ones in 2003 to absolutely zero fanfare or promotion from our then record label Columbia. After escaping this contract, the album was eventually re-released independently & re-titled Suck Fony. Now, after nearly a decade, many of these tunes that were once swept under the rug have found happy homes as staples of our live show, not to mention free downloads at Wheatus.com.
Since the album’s creation, the song Lemonade has always been considered the single that never was. It gets requested at live shows just as often, if not more regularly, than songs from our eponymous debut. It has become a favorite of both fans and band members alike, and we’ve always wanted to give it the attention we think it deserves.
You all have given this song a life beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. Now we’re returning the favor. After far too long, we have teamed up with Oliver Broadbent to present you with this, the official music video for Lemonade. Better late than never, we hope. -

Oh boy. Heading back to 2002 to the release of Wannabe Gangstar. The recording of the song used in the video is different to the album version, and features Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden.
And yes, it also features a super-sketchy fake alien. SAAAAAHHRYYYYYYY.
